Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE) or "Citriodiol", is a naturally sourced, active compound derived from the steam distilled oil of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree, (Corymbia citriodora).  It is not the same as lemon eucalyptus essential oil.  A conversion process enables a concentrated, active compound end product that is substantially more powerful than the essential oil itself.  Studies have shown it to be as effective as synthetic actives such as DEET and without the potentially harmful effects.  It is recognized by the CDC as the only naturally sourced active ingredient to prevent bites from mosquitoes carrying the Zika virus.  It is ECOCERT and Organic certified.
